Reta Coburn

Reta Coburn was appointed President of FNF Canada in 2009. She oversees all aspects of the Canadian operation, including the business plan and growth strategies, financial performance, operational and service delivery effectiveness, and support service function alignment.

Reta has spent most of her career in the title insurance industry in Canada, having grown into progressive and broader general management roles during this time. Reta had joined the Fidelity family in 2005 in a general management capacity as Senior Vice President for Chicago Title Insurance Company’s Canadian operation, leading their growth strategy and objectives, providing support on the operational structure and defining the organizational design. Prior to this, she spent 7 years as Vice President, Canada Branch for Stewart Title Guaranty Company, providing similar general management oversight and direction to this company, including the strategic development, growth, expansion, operational structure and organizational design. She also simultaneously held the appointments of Chief Agent, Senior Vice President of Stewart International and Managing Director of Lawyer’s Mortgage Network. Previous roles in the industry included Operations Manager, Client Service Manager and Training & Development Coordinator.

Reta holds a Master of Business Administration graduate degree from University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business and a Management Studies diploma from McMaster University.

Reta is a past member and board of director of the Title Insurance Industry Association of Canada, having held the role of Vice President and is currently a member of the Canadian Accredited Association of Mortgage Professionals and Canadian Professional Sales Association. She is an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton and Canadian Youth Business Foundation.

Dustin Allan

Dustin Allan is Vice President, Sales and Business Development, and Appraisal Services, responsible for business development with financial institutions. Dustin has worked for over 10 years in the Canadian financial services Industry. Starting in 1994 with a major Canadian financial Institution he began in the branch network in a variety of sales and management roles.

 He then moved into a senior marketing role where he oversaw a portfolio of $6 billion in residential mortgages and secured lines of credit.

In his current role with FNF Canada, he oversees all day to day activities with FNF Canada's largest customer account as well as an operations team of appraisal staff who deliver over 75,000 residential appraisals annually. Dustin is also involved in major strategic initiatives including the new Broker Choice product.

Dustin holds a Master of Business Administration graduate degree from University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business.

Temi Arvanitakis

Temi Arvanitakis is Director, Regional Operations for the province of Quebec. Her responsiblities include overseeing the lender services operation in addition to maintaining and developing strong client relationships.

Temi joined the FNF Canada team in August 2007 where she has since held a wide variety of progressive positions within the company with her most recent appointment to Director in October 2011.

Temi holds a diploma of International Trade and Finance from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.

Craig Boyd

Craig Boyd is National Director, Lender Programs where duties include managing the Business Development Managers across the country while also promoting products and services at FNF Canada. Craig joined as Business Development Manager with LandCanada in the specialized lenders division.

He maintained this position during the acquisition by FNF and soon took on role of Business Development role for all Lender Programs, being responsible for client relations and maintaining service standards.

Craig entered the financial services industry in 1994 with Trans Canada Credit working in various sales and management roles in both Ottawa and Barrie before accepting a management role with HFC (now HSBC Finance).

As a Branch Manager at HFC, he was responsible for recruitment, training, coaching and growth of the retail business.

Charlotte Christophersen

Charlotte Christophersen is Director of Operations for our Alberta region whose responsiblities include overseeing the daily activities of our lender services operations while also spending time managing relationships with lenders and financial institutions within Alberta and Northwest Territories.

Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary and obtained her law degree from Dalhousie Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She originally articled with FNF Canada before becoming a member of the Alberta Bar in 2007. Following her articles and prior to Charlotte returning to FNF she was employed at a medium size Calgary firm practicing primarily in the areas of real estate transactions, foreclosure law and corporate/commercial matters.

Charlotte is a director and newsletter editor for the Association of Women Lawyers and a director for the Dino Women’s Field Hockey Alumni Association. She is also an affiliated member with the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals and Mortgage Loans Association.

Martin Drevjany

Martin Drevjany is Vice President, Sales and Business Development, responsible for business development with financial institutions. Previous to his current role at FNF Canada, he worked as Vice President, Sales at Marlborough Stirling Canada.

 Prior to joining Marlborough Stirling Canada, Martin held a number of mortgage-related positions, particularly in underwriting and business development, with lenders such as Household Finance (now HSBC Finance) and CIBC.

Drawing on his 20+ years experience in the Canadian financial services sector, Martin had been the primary driver of his former companies’ sales efforts, particularly with respect to its lender and broker systems. Martin also developed and implemented numerous business development initiatives to increase the reach of Marlborough Stirling Canada within its target market.

Martin holds a BA (Economics) from Carleton University.

Anjum Iqbal

Anjum Iqbal is the Associate Vice President of IT Business Solutions and oversees all of FNF Canada’s application development initiatives and new technology research. Anjum has over 13 years of experience ranging from corporate financial and Intranet applications to complete enterprise level business systems development.

Before joining FNF Canada in January 2004, He was a Sr. Consultant at CIBC and also held senior software development positions at various companies both in Canada and Singapore.

Anjum holds a B.S. Comp. Sci. degree from University of Wollongong (Australia).

Lisa Merrill

Lisa Merrill is Director, Regional Operations for our Atlantic Canada region and is responsible for the lender services operations in the Provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador.

Lisa joined the FNF Canada team in 2004 where she has held various progressive positions within the company until being appointment her current role as Director in January 2008.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

Steven Offer

Steven Offer is Senior Vice President, Sales and Business Development, and Government Relations, responsible for business development with financial institutions and government relations.

Steven was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1976. After a successful 9 years of private practice specializing in real estate and corporate commercial law and partner in the law firm of Offer & David, he was first elected as Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Mississauga North in 1985; and was re-elected in 1987 and 1990. Within a short time after joining the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in 1985, Steven was appointed Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Consumer and Commercial Relations from June 1985 to September 1987; In 1987 Steven was appointed Parliamentary Assistant to the Attorney General and served in that capacity until 1989. In 1989 he was appointed to cabinet as the Solicitor General of Ontario.

Following his successful political career Steven joined the law firm of Anderson Sinclair in 1995 and pursued the practice of law in the areas of residential and corporate and commercial law. Additionally he became more involved in the provision of services to financial institutions and has been with the organization through to its evolution today where he has been instrumental in the creation of a variety of lending programs and processes.

Steven now serves as the Secretary of the Title Insurance Industry Association of Canada (TIIAC). He is also on the Government Relations Committee for the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP) and is a member of the CAAMP Fraud Committee.

Steven has never forgotten the importance of community. He is a founding member of the Mississauga Children’s Festival, past board member of Forum Italia Non-Profit Housing Corporation; Mississauga Board of Trade and past member and Chair of the Mississauga Economic Advisory Council. He is currently the President of the Community Foundation of Mississauga.

Scott Pezzack

Scott is Vice President, Sales and Business Development.  In his role, Scott builds long lasting relationships and business development for FNF Canada’s lender clients and prospective clients across Canada. Scott applies his in-depth understanding of FNF processes, methodologies and services to solution the challenges our clients face with the implementation of FNF Canada’s mortgage settlement, appraisal and tax services.

Scott has a diverse business background from management through to marketing – operations. He brings a unique combination of business acumen, financial discipline, technical knowledge, management consulting and business development experience to the FNF Canada team. Scott has worked with such organizations as Ernst & Young, Wang Laboratories, Digital Equipment Corporation, Xerox Canada and several Technology System Integrator companies in Canada. Scott is a recipient of several company awards and industry designations. He currently is a member of CAAMP and AIIM.

 

Scott also has an entrepreneurial and consulting background having founded two companies. His first was in the field of business process re-engineering and customer relationship management systems, working with customers on their internal processes and then deploying technology to support the newly re-engineered environment. His second was a global sourcing company specializing in the safety industry with the design through fulfillment of safety gear for the North American marketplace.

Scott has vast industry expertise having supported various industry sectors including Canada’s Schedule A banks, finance – insurance, WRAD – Wholesale Retail and Distribution, high technology, video conferencing, food and distribution, pharmaceutical, energy, automotive, mining – natural resources, education and government throughout his career.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial and Financial Studies at University of Western.

Gillian Shull

Gillian Shull is Director of Human Resources.  In her role, she is responsible for providing professional guidance and consulting on a broad range of Human Resources services as well as supporting the human capital aspects of our business strategy.

Gillian is a certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), is fully bilingual and has held senior roles in Human Resources for over 15 years.  Prior to joining FNF Canada in June 2010, Gillian was with Brookfield Residential Property Services for 4 years, and of her many responsibilities with Brookfield, she provided HR consulting and supported the company on a national level in a shared services environment.

Patrick Squire

Patrick Squire is Vice President of Chicago Title Insurance Company’s Canadian Branch. He was appointed to this position in April, 2008. Patrick joined Chicago Title as Legal Counsel and assumed increased responsibilities to his current position of Vice President.

 He is responsible for the management of the Canadian Branch which includes overseeing the sales, underwriting, claims and compliance departments. Prior to joining Chicago Title, Patrick held an associate position with McCarthy Tétrault LLP, practicing in the real property and planning group. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. (Hons) from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Paul Zappala

Paul Zappala is Vice President, Central Canada Operations, overseeing Ontario & Quebec and centralized programs. Paul obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003 after completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 2004.

 Paul has held various progressive positions within the company. He is currently responsible for the Ontario Centralized and Quebec regions and is involved in developing solutions and procedures on a national level.
