FNF Canada, a division of Fidelity National Financial, is one of the country’s largest providers of title insurance and ancillary services. With our continued growth in Canada, we are seeking a QA Analyst to help guide the evolution of our core technology products.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic hands-on associate who would be comfortable initiating software testing activities and recommending products, services, processes that will evolve FNF’s Software Quality Assurance. Reporting to the Lead, your focus will be to test new projects/ maintenance items and to provide quality product to the client by working as important member of the QA Team. This role is a great fit for candidates who are willing to take a hands-on approach and who have experience in designing, executing and automating test plans.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Experience in Web application Testing
  • Familiar with Agile / Iterative SDLC and STLC.
  • In- depth business requirements understanding to design functional test cases, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
  • Develop and maintain testing programs that address new and existing functionality.
  • Well versed in positive testing, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests
  • Execute test cases and document software defects, using a bug tracking system
  • Report detail-oriented defects to software developers
  • Monitor bug resolution with dev and track successes
  • Create / Maintain databases of known test defects
  • Experience in MS Azure, be able to read Story and draft Acceptance Criteria (use cases and test cases) in MS Azure.
  • Experience in test automation
  • Experience in working onshore- offshore model.
  • Should be able to work in flexible hours.


  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Experience of SQL and scripting
  • Experience in agile development framework
  • Experience with web vulnerability management is a plus
  • Both documentation and testing are managed in Microsoft Azure DevOps. The role requires experience working within that development environment.
  • Familiarity with basic programming is preferable in order to understand the technical aspects of the application itself
  • Good to have experience with Automation of Software application testing with Tools such as SoapUI, Selenium etc.
  • Experience in mortgage settlement and appraisal services is added advantage
  • Experience of API testing using Postman/Swagger Tool.
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
